Lately, I have been busy and on top I just busy. Today I have a bit of free time so I just make some post. Quite a few today. The series update that I have missed posting and this one. A bit of what series I have going through. Lately the series that TVB or rather the series they have release in the last 2 years. So far the only I think it is more meaningful is A Fistful of Stances. The only complaints is the flushback is often. I wish they have a long flushback rather going back and forth between the years.

In between the times of watching tvb newer series, I have been watching older series. Lately ATV have released also of their series in DVD. Some are worthed watching. ATV's history based series are better TVB's

Empress Wu 武則天



One of Chinese history's most fascinating and divisive figures, China's one and only female emperor Wu Zetian is a name for the ages. Entering the royal palace at the age of 14 as one of many concubines of aging Tang Dynasty Emperor Taizong, she begins an amazing journey that would take her to the highest throne of power. After Taizong's death, she becomes concubine and then queen to his son Emperor Gaozong who is no match for the strong will of his consort. Accumulating great influence during Gaozong's reign, she seizes power after her husband's death, and rules de facto as regent during her sons' reigns before declaring her own dynasty in 690. Though a powerful and able ruler, Empress Wu Zetian's legacy is forever associated with her reign of terror within the palace and a bloody ascension to power that included the persecution of competing concubines and her own children.

Hong Kong's top child actress of the 1960s, Petrina Fung Bo Bo returned to screen in the early 1980s and made a memorable turn as Wu Zetian in the classic 1984 ATV drama Empress Wu. Portraying the empress from teenage to middle age, Fung created a complex, intense, and beguiling character that remains unmatched even decades later. The drama featured a stellar cast of ATV's most respected stars of the day including Poon Chi Man, Anthony Lau Wing, Jiang Han (as Taizong), and Lu Chun Suen (as Gaozong).

Synopsis:

After the death of her husband, CHU PIK-HA (Hsuan Jessica Hester) returns to her maiden home with her son, in a deliberate attempt to take over the family jewelry business from her big sister CHU PIK-WAN (Sheung Tin Ngor). To prevent HA from getting too out of hand, WAN needs her matrilocal husband HO CHEUNG-HING (Bowie Lam) to create trouble for her sibling. Synopsis:

In order to rescue her best friend COCO KAM (Lau Yuk Chui), masseuse CHENG SIU-YAN (Flora Chan) is embroiled in a triad murder case. Misconceiving that she has killed someone, YAN hides away from the police and gangsters by reluctantly returning to her long-separated father CHENG TSUN-CHEONG (Shek Sau). MING's supervisor CHEUNG SZ-CHAI (Chan Kwok Bong) used to oppress him a lot and MING is losing confidence at work. MING's younger brother NG CHUNG-HONG (Law Chung Him) meets YAN's younger sister CHENG SIU-MAN (Mandy Wong) and love grows spontaneously. However, YAN finds out MING's identity and she believes that the two brothers are making use of them to carry out investigation. Synopsis:

Synopsis:

Synopsis:

Divorced LUI SIU FUNG (Liza Wang) is the CEO's secretary of a mall management company and is the head of the company's secretaries. After a while of working together, Kei unconsciously fell in love with Sik who only thought of him as a brother.
